Introduced to the table of Louix XIV, King of France, by Marshal Henry de Sennecterre, these days Saint-Nectaire is as unmissable as it is tasty. Made using unpasteurised milk, Saint-Nectaire is certified AOP, Appellation d’Origine Protégée. It is exclusively produced, processed and refined in mountain areas within the departments of Puy-de-Dôme and Cantal, in the heart of the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional National Park. Saint-Nectaire is the king of the land and has an extensive court: Bleu d’Auvergne, Fourme d’Ambert, Cantal, Gaperon, and more, without forgetting Yssoirien, the famous creation made by the Fromagerie HOULBERT .
